RESUMO

Objective:To study the in vitro antimicrobial activity of traditional Chinese medicine herbal pair of euphorbia humifusa Willd. and portulaca oleracea L. . Methods: The antibacterial effect in vitro of the traditional Chinese medicine herbal pair and the single herb of euphorbia humifusa Willd. and portulaca oleracea L. was studied on staphylococcus aureus, escherichia coli and pseudo-monas aeruginosa by the 2-fold dilution method and the broth micro-dilution method in a 96-well plate. The minimum inhibitory con-centration ( MIC) , minimum bactericidal concentration ( MBC) and the diameter of inhibition zone were determined. Results:The ex-perimental strains showed the different sensitivity among the traditional Chinese medicine herbal pair and the single herb. The antibac-terial and bactericidal activity of the traditional Chinese medicine herbal pair was the most obvious(P<0. 05). As the temperature in-creasing, the antibacterial activity of all water extract on different experimental strains changed. The results of MIC and MBC showed that the effects of water extract on escherichia coli were strongest, that of stapphylococcus aureus were secong, ant that of pseudomonas aeruginosa were relatively weak. Conclusion:The traditional Chinese medicine herbal pair of euphorbia humifusa Willd. and portulaca oleracea L. has antibacterial and bactericidal activity in varying degrees on the experimental strains with some differences, and the changes in the application forms of traditional Chinese medicines has great influence on the antibacterial and bactericidal ability.

RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the liposoluble constituents in fruit of Cnidium monnieri. Methods:The liposoluble constitu-ents in fruit of C. monnieri were extracted by Soxet extraction. The extracted liposoluble constituents were methyl esterified and then analyzed by GC-MS for the first time. Results:Thirty-nine compounds (85. 33%) were identified from the liposoluble constituents in fruit of C. monnieri. Phytol (15. 98%), hexadecanoic acid (12. 73%), 9,12,15-octadecatrienoic acid (11. 02%), 9-octadecenoic acid (6. 33%) and 9,12-octadecadienoic acid (4. 77%) were the main constituents of the liposoluble constituents in fruit of C. mon-nieri. Conclusion:Phytol, hexadecanoic acid, 9,12,15-octadecatrienoic acid and 9-octadecenoic acid are the active ingredients in fruit of C. monnieri.

RESUMO

Objective To establish the quality control of Yinhuang tablet (YHT) by using sever ingredients determina-tion and tri-wavelength fingerprint analysis technologies. Methods The chromatographic fingerprints were developed by using Agilent Poroshell 120 SB C18(4. 6 mm×150 mm, 2. 7 μm) as the separation column and 0. 2% H3 PO4-methanol as the mobile phase. The flow rate was 0. 5 mL·min-1 , the UV absorbance was monitored at 214, 278 and 326 nm by injecting 5 μL of the sample solution and the column temperature was maintained at (35. 00±0. 15) ℃ . The chromatographic fingerprints were charac-teristically evaluated for quality ranking of 13 batches of YHT by the 4. 0 software of the digitized evaluation system of traditional chinese medicine fingerprint with the super information characteristics. Seven marker compounds including chlorogenic acid, caf-feic acid, baicalin, wogonoside, baicalein, wogonin and scutellarin were simultaneously determined to compare the variation a-mong five different manufacturers. Results The tri-wavelength fingerprint high performance liquid chromatography method was established. A total of 28(214 nm),29(278 nm)and 26(326 nm)common peaks were identified at respective wavelengths, using baicalin (BCL) as the referential peak. The software was applied to evaluate the YHT-HPLC fingerprints and identify the quality of 13 batches of YHT by systematically quantified fingerprint method (SQFM). The results showed that the content from the dif-ferent manufacturers varied greatly. Conclusion The quality of YHT varies between different makers, and is necessary to es-tablish the criterion for quality control. This method can provide a new reference for the quality control of YHT.
